About Linda

Linda Bah, MSc, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, lives in the Northern Virginia area with her husband.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American University, Washington DC, and a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Strategic Human Resources, from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.  She was an HR Practitioner for over 20 years, working for an international development organization where she served and advised thousands of employees globally on a wide range of HR-related matters.  During covid, after much prayer and soul searching, she felt called to pursue health and wellness to serve and have an impact on others.  Following her heart, she started a health coaching training program at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2021, and eventually transitioned out from her then full-time job.

My journey from stress to health

I discovered my passion for whole foods nutrition and holistic wellness a few years ago when I faced some health challenges which led me to a self-discovery journey and to seek answers to the many questions related to the foods we eat.  My health challenges were a compilation of little self-care, oxidative stress from my former job and life itself.

Even though I thought I was treating my body well and exercised regularly, the stress and foods I was consuming led to a leaky gut, which was a self-diagnosis, based on the various research I undertook. That journey led me to learn that food is medicine and medicine is food, to switch to whole foods, and adjust my lifestyle, which led to my personal transformation, and that included a weight loss of about 15 pounds which I have successfully maintained up to date.

Today, I am thriving physically, mentally, emotionally because of this transformation.  As a result, I am fully engaged in using my story to come alongside other women to raise their awareness on the power of proper nutrition as medicine and I want to see every woman discover the key to unlock their own version of wellness transformation.
