My journey from stress to health

I discovered my passion for whole foods nutrition and holistic wellness a few years ago when I faced some health challenges, related to gut and digestive issues, which led to my self-discovery journey, seeking answers to the many questions I had related to the foods we eat. My health challenges resulted mainly from a combination of little self-care and oxidative stress from my former job and life itself.

Even though I thought I was treating my body well and exercised regularly, the stress and foods I was consuming led to a leaky gut, which was a self-diagnosis, based on the various research I undertook.  Leaky gut syndrome is a condition that develops when the lining of the gut wall becomes too porous; this is also known as increased intestinal permeability.

That journey led me to understand the triggers, to learn that food is medicine and medicine is food, and to take several actions, which included switching to whole foods, managing my level of stress, adjusting my lifestyle, which led to my personal transformation.  That included a weight loss of about 15 pounds which I have successfully maintained up to date.

Today, I am thriving physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually because of this transformation.  As a result, I am fully engaged in using my story to come alongside other women to raise their awareness on the power of proper nutrition as medicine and I want to see every woman discover the key to unlock their own version of wellness transformation.
